John Lewis Koch, age 52, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1964 in Springfield, OH to Frank and Sue (Mullins) Koch. He worked for ProTech Electric for many years as an electrician.
John enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles as well as the outdoors. He enjoyed visiting Kentucky and the family time he shared there. He loved his chickens and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family enjoying a cold beer and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother Sue; a son, Dallas Aaron Lynch; a daughter Megan Sue Koch; two brothers, Dale Barham and Frank Koch; one sister, Norma Reams; two nephews, Jared and Mikah (Danielle) Reams; two nieces, Dee (Richard) Mays and Alyssa Barham; a special friend, Michelle Ruddy; good friend, John Steelman and special uncle, Stanley Mullins. He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory-Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home from 5 to 7:00 pm. John's wishes were to be cremated and scattered in a place special to him.
