John David Isaac, born in Dayton, Ohio July 27, 1954, died February 6, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Earl Isaac, mother, Betty Ruth (Bond) Isaac, and sister, Betty Ann Isaac.

David leaves behind his fiancé of 10 years, Brenda Keough of New York; son, David Friend of Dayton, Ohio, daughters, Lisa Smith of New Carlisle, Ohio, Erin Leigh of Dayton, Ohio; grandsons, Dallas, David Jr., and Clayton; granddaughters, Krystin, Victoria, and Karma June, and great-granddaughter, Leeann. He is also survived by his brothers, William Earl "Bud" Isaac and wife, Sue of Bellevue, KY, Ron Isaac Sr., and wife, Riola of Huber Heights, Ohio; sisters, Lois Jeanne Isaac of Trotwood, Ohio, and Mildred "Millie" Orrender of Dayton, Ohio as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

David was a very caring, generous and open-hearted person. His family was always first and he loved them all deeply, especially his grandchildren. David was always someone that you could count on.

He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed his weekly talks with his brother, Ron about their favorite driver, Dale Jr.
