John David Waymire

John David Waymire, age 54 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2026. He was born April 4, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio.

John was a loving and devoted spouse, son, father, grandfather, nephew, and friend. He was an avid Star Wars fan. John loved to travel with his family, going to the movies, and going to museums. He loved going out to eat and trying new things. He had a passion for comic books and video gaming. His pride and joy was his family and spending as much time with them as he could. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

John was preceded in death by his father, Russell Waymire.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Waymire; soulmate, Michelle Cebula-Lewis; children, Jsean, Brejuana, Ashanti (Tyler), and Jadell; granddaughters, Sophia and Nilea; uncle, Roger (Carol) Mankin; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
