John Copeland, age 86 of Kettering, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter; and brother.
John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Copeland; sons: Terry (Charlene) and Michael (Addie); 4 grandchildren: Shawn, Tosha, Kyle and Chelsi; 2 sisters: Ruth and Edith; and brother, Joel (Linda); many other relatives and friends.
John retired as owner of Copeland Flooring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, WWII. He was president of Kiwanis Club and Sunday School Superintendent in Florida, where he lived for 20 years. He graduated from Rogers Business College for 4 years. He liked camping and boating.
