John F. Barrett, age 43 of Dayton, passed away June 20, 2020. He was born May 8, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Larry and Nancy Barrett. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, William Barrett.
John is survived by his brother, Larry Barrett (Charlene); friends: George Birt and Chuck Risen; nephews: William, Nate and Jared; girlfriend, Linda; many other family members; and many dear friends, especially at Lee's Family Recipe.
John worked at Lee's Family Recipe for 26 years. He loved going to concerts with his friend, George.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5-8 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday.
