John E. Amburn, age 67, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Dorotha Amburn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Roundtree; brother-in-law, Gary Roundtree; grandparents; cousins, Jamie and Jon Nelson; aunts, uncles and his special four-legged buddies, Rudy and Rusty.
John was a former employee and retired from Dayton Freight.
John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Amburn; son, Todd (Elise) Amburn and their children, Kye and Ivy; son, Greg (Cassie) Amburn and their children, Evie, Aiden and Riley; sisters, Deborah Amburn and her sons, Bryan and Mark Dunaway and their families and Sandi (Doug) Purnhagen and Ronnie and Chris Miller and their families; uncle and aunt, David and Linda Warnock, their son, Joe (Adrianna) Warnock and their family; and his best four-legged buddies, Abby and Annie. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
John loved spending time with his family, loved his grandchildren who will dearly miss him. He loved his sports, music, NASCAR, quiet days at home, eating meals with family and enjoyed conversations with his neighbors.
