John A.&Alma"Tina" Smelko

John A. & Alma "Tina" Smelko, ages 83 of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
John & Tina were married for almost 50 years. John was a member & officer of the Miamisburg Eagles. He often donated blood and volunteered at Miamisburg Helping Hands Pantry. Tina enjoyed long walks through the community and was John's close companion.
They were preceded in death by their son, John R. Smelko, of Dayton. John & Tina are survived by their son, Robert (Tara) Smelko; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Olivia Smelko and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 4-6pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The memorial service will follow at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John & Tina's memory to Miamisburg Helping Hands Pantry, 224 Maple Ave, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
