Joe Tindall, a dedicated and generous member of the Dayton community, passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 24, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, Joe lived a life marked by kindness, service, and unwavering commitment to those around him.

Joe retired from General Motors after a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a proud veteran who honorably served in the United States Army, embodying the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice.

Throughout his life, Joe found joy and purpose in many areas. He was an active member of the Memorial Church in Dayton for over 50 years, where he not only practiced his faith but also contributed significantly to the community through his work with the church's KIND program. His generosity extended beyond his time and talent; Joe was remarkable in his commitment to donating blood, having given 148 times, a testament to his compassionate nature and willingness to help others.

Joe was also deeply involved with the Masonic Lodge 147, the Antioch Shriners, and the Boy Scouts organizations that benefited from his dedication and warm spirit. In his leisure time, he enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family, cherishing these moments of connection and camaraderie. He loved golfing with his buddies, embracing the sport as a joyful pastime that fostered friendship and relaxation.

Known by all who knew him as the kindest and nicest man, Joe was always ready to lend a helping hand. His generosity and warmth left an indelible mark on his family, friends, and the wider community.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of almost 53 years, Judy Tindall; his daughter, Dawn Tindall; his son, Jason Tindall; and his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Tindall. He is also survived by his siblings, Sam Tindall, Helen Lee, Peggy Fox, Ray Tindall, and two large families whom he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, William and Grace Tindall; Jim Tindall and wife Loretta (brother), Eddie Fox (brother-in-law); and Ancil Lee (brother-in-law).

The family invites all who knew Joe to celebrate his life and legacy, remembering a man who exemplified kindness, generosity, and a true commitment to community. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him and in the countless lives he touched during his remarkable journey.
