Joanna Scholz, age 85 of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born October 8, 1934 in Corbin, Kentucky the daughter to the late Marion and Ada Hensely.
Joanna retired as a secretary at the Miami Valley Hospital after over 44 years. She was a voracious reader and liked bowling. Joanna enjoyed going out with her girlfriends once a month and eating out with her brother, Marion.
In addition to her parents, Joanna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scholz.
Joanna will be missed by her loving brother, Marion E. Hensley, Jr.
Family will receive friends Friday, October 25, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
