Joan Szabo

SZABO, Joan, 84, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on February 21, 2018. Joan was born on August 29, 1933 in Great Britain, to the late Lawrence and Annie (Murgatroyd) Kenneford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Szabo and first husband and close friend, Karl M. Schab.

Joan is survived by her children, Stephen R. Schab, Anita L. Schab, and Melissa R. Keller; grandchildren, Emma M. Keller and Luke M. Keller., and beloved canine companion, "Mu Mu", as well as several close friends.

She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and attending local festivals, such as the German, Egyptian, World Affair, church bazaars, etc. Joan was also generous to a fault, always donating to organizations in need of help. She was the kind of person who put the needs of others before her own. She was a wonderful mother and will be dearly missed.
