Joan Elsie Stamper-Elking, age 65, of Oakwood, passed unexpectedly on Friday, November 23, 2018.
She was born in Dayton on October 22, 1953 to the late Maxwell & Ruth Stamper (Hillman). Joan was preceded in death by her brothers, Dr. Bruce Maxwell Stamper and Robert Hammond Stamper.
She is survived by her brother, Christopher Hillman Stamper & wife Sharon; sons, Jonathan (Erica) Elking and Jason (Ashley) Elking; grandchildren, Ava, Carter, Hadley, Gabriella, Giuliana and Karisa; and many other relatives and friends.
Joan had a passion for creating artwork and a love for all animals. Joan touched many with her warm heart, kind smile, and will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1pm at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. Visitation will follow after the service.
