Joan L. Perry, a kind and loving soul passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, in Tipp City, Ohio. Born on November 21, 1931, in Ironton, Ohio, Joan's enduring spirit touched all who knew her.

Joan found joy and fulfillment in her hobbies of quilting and painting and artistic talents reflected a life lived with grace and an eye for beauty, embodying the kindness that defined her character.

She was the cherished wife of Joel Perry, an Army World War II veteran, whose memory she held dear. Joan’s greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she considered the very heart of her existence. Her family was a source of endless love and happiness, and she delighted in watching her lineage grow and thrive.

Joan is survived by her devoted children: Jerri Lindsey, Jackie (Larry) Gray, and Jeannie Harrison. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Shannon (David) Brewster, Stacey (Jamie) Viers, Paige (Sean) Reynolds, Mike (Tan) Gray, Matt (Megan) Gray, Nicole (Bobby) Dalto, and Jessica (Gary) Dilworth, along with sixteen beloved great-grandchildren who carry forward her spirit. She is also survived by her sister Frieda Bennett, and was surrounded in life and memory by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who held her in their hearts.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joel Perry; her parents, Mike and Sue Sierer; her grandson, Larry Harrison; and her sister, Juanita Zimmerlin.

Joan L. Perry’s life was a testament to the power of love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on her family and community.  Her memory remains a guiding light to all fortunate enough to have known her. The family would like to thank  nurses, aids, and hospice for the care they have given Joan over the last three years.
