Jo Ann (Shepherd) Ripley

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Jo Ann (Shepherd) Ripley, age 84, passed away peacefully and ascended to the heavens to be with the true love of her life, her husband Richard (Dick) Ronald Ripley, who passed on December 20, 2014 and son Richard (Rick) A. Ripley who left this earth on March 29, 2021.

Jo (or "Mama Jo", as so very many of her children's friends fondly called her), will be forever remembered for her generous spirit, sincere affection, and her creative writing and beautiful artwork. She will be extremely missed by her 10 remaining children, 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her 2 brothers and her sister.

A Celebration of Life will be held later in the fall. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the Alzheimer's Association for which one of Jo and Dick's sons, Dr. Daniel (Dan) C.
