GIBBS, Jimmie, 80, of Riverside passed away Tuesday July 7, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Gibbs; 9 children and their spouses; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved by all; 2 sisters; and many other family and friends. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired from Mullins Rubber Co. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday July 10, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday July 9, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Byron Cemetery.
