Jerry D. Lancaster

Jerry D. Lancaster, born on October 3, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his hometown on September 22, 2025, leaving behind a rich legacy and cherished memories.

Jerry was a devoted father to two sons, Eric (Alisha) Lancaster and Brian Lancaster. He found immense joy in the company of his granddaughter, Lily Lancaster, who brought light and happiness into his life. Jerry was also a loving brother, surviving by two siblings, Larry Lancaster and Gordon Lancaster, who will remember him fondly for his warmth and camaraderie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LaPort G. Lancaster and Freda M. Lancaster, whose guidance shaped him into the person he became. Jerry’s wife, Karen Lancaster, who he admired deeply, also passed before him. Additionally, he was preceded by two sisters, Connie Bollinger and Linda Miller, who held a special place in his heart.

Jerry D. Lancaster will be remembered not only for his dedication to family but also for the kindness he extended to everyone he encountered. His impact on those around him will continue to resonate, and he will be greatly missed.
