Jerry L. Gibson, age 36 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born July 20, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Clifford and Dora Gibson-Posey.
Jerry was a graduate of Meadowdale High School. He attended the Word of God Church where he was active with camera ministry and live streaming church services. He was an avid wrestling fan. He liked to joke around and could always make you smile. Jerry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Geneva Mink.
Jerry will be missed by his loving parents, Dora and Clifford Posey; brothers, Clinton (Maria) Gibson, Chad (Lynn) Posey, Kenny (Jacqueline) Gibson and James Posey; sister, Callie Gibson; many nieces and nepehws; aunts; uncles; cousins and his loving church family. He has a loving daughter that will dearly miss him.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial to follow the services at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
