Jerome A. Fromholt, 89, of Brookville, passed away February 26, 2016. Jerome was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 20, 1926 to the late Bernard and Mary Fromholt. Jerome retired from local 162 pipefitters union after over 40 years of service. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, photography and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Fromholt whom he adored; sons, Tony (Peggy) Fromholt, Christopher Fromholt; daughter, Angie (Dave) Rice; granddaughter, Juliet Fromholt; brothers, John (Pat), Bernard, Ray (Caroline); and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerome was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Welch.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 1 -2 pm at St. Henry's Memorial Chapel in Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Drive, Dayton, OH 45409 where funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow.
