Jermaine E. Anderson Sr.

Jermaine Eugene Anderson Sr., age 54 of Dayton, Ohio passed away July 13, 2025. He was born December 15, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Calvin Rodgers and Marsha Anderson.

Jermaine graduated From Belmont class of 1990. After graduation he went on to work at Province Health and Services. He was a devoted grandson, son, brother, friend, father, and a grandfather. He loved to play football, basketball, bowling. along with horseback riding. His favorite football players were Walter Payton and Brian Urlacher and was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed long rides and taking pictures of scenic views with his friends. He had a deep love for music. Jermaine had a smile that would make you smile with a contagious laugh. A "Casanova" as his sister would say. His heart was always grinning, a gentle soul, with a child like spirit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Rodgers and Marsha Anderson; his daughter, Alyssa Anderson; son, Jamar Anderson; along with his grandmother, Velma Anderson.

Jermaine is survived by his children, Jermaine Anderson Jr. (Melanie Anderson ) and Andre Power; grandchildren, Isabella and Isaiah Anderson; siblings, Marraysha, Lindsey, Gant (Chevon Gant), Ray, and Lindsey (Sarah Lindsey); niece and Nephew, Mari Smith and James Berry Jr.; great niece, Imri George; great nephew, Jace Berry; close friends, Dietrich Moore, David Richmond, Demond Johnson, Kyle Aka Kenji, and Sterling Hamilton; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 3-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 4:00pm with Pastor Alfonzo Tingle officiating.
