Jeremy Michael Reynolds, a beloved member of his community and a cherished family man, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 44. Born on November 24, 1981, he lived his life with a steadfast devotion to his family and a quiet strength that inspired all who knew him.
For twelve years, Jeremy dedicated himself to a fulfilling career in manufacturing at Hohman Plating, where his work ethic and strong opinions left an indelible mark on colleagues and friends alike. His personality shone brightly through his love for the outdoors and fishing, moments he treasured deeply. A true homebody at heart, Jeremy found joy in the simplest pleasures, always accompanied by his beloved dogs, Memphis, Lotus, and Freyja, who brought warmth and companionship into his life.
As a devoted husband, Jeremy's commitment to his wife, Andrea Reynolds, was profound and unwavering. He was not only her partner but her home, embodying the essence of love and support that filled their shared life. Jermey leaves to cherish his memory, son, Shane Reynolds and daughter, Amiya Mills, His love for his family extended to his mother, Leah Staup, and his siblings, Ashley Copeland, Jenna (Yuhan) Wu, and Khyrstin (Matt) Davenport. The bonds he shared with his grandmother, Sonia Naginey, as well as his nieces and nephews—Sophia, Easton, Henry, Elijah, Ada, Ashton, Jasmine, and Tommy—were precious treasures in his life. Jeremy’s sister-in-law, Christen (Thomas) Abner, also held a special place in his heart.
Jeremy's passing is felt even more profoundly knowing that he continued his legacy of giving and generosity through his tissue donation, impacting the lives of up to 125 individuals. It is a testament to his character, showcasing the compassion he held for others and his desire to make the world a better place.
He joins his father, Roy Reynolds, and his grandparents, Jean and Dan Turner, Eddie Reynolds, and John Naginey, in eternal rest. Additionally, he is reunited with his fur babies, Fancy Pants and A-Team, who wait for him on the other side, eager for his return.
A visitation to honor Jeremy’s life will take place on March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio. He will be remembered fondly by his work-husband, Josh Wint, along with numerous loving relatives and dear friends who were graced by his presence.
Jeremy's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, a gentle reminder of the strength, generosity, and love he brought into the world. His spirit remains ever-present in the laughter of his children, the warmth of his wife's embrace, and the continued love of his family. He will be dearly missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered.
