Jeffrey S. Wood

Jeffrey S. Wood, 65, passed away peacefully after a courageous two-year battle with Multiple Myeloma, on June 28th, 2023. Loving husband of Lori Wood (nee Walters) for 40 years, cherished father of Tracy Wood and Erin Wood, beloved son of Wilma Wood, adored brother of Lisa (Mike) Nock. He will be greatly missed by his in laws Ron and Donna Walters, Greg (Brenda) Walters, Amy Walters, Bob (Marla) Walters, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as his two best friends Bill Walsh and Rufus Dog.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Jim Wood and brother-in-law Dave Walters.

Jeff retired from Northrop Grumman after 30 years as a Systems Administrator and Director of Operations. He loved music and was a lifelong drummer. He enjoyed camping, The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Cincinnati Bengals football teams as well as Cincinnati Reds baseball.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Wednesday July 5th, 2023 from 5 pm until 7 pm. He will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery during a private service.
