Jeffrey Daryl Revere, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, ambition, and unwavering dedication to family and community.
Born in Xenia, Ohio, on January 7, 1953, to Marcellus and Lucile Revere, Jeffrey was a bright light from the start. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his cherished twin siblings, James "Jimmy'" Revere and Joan Jackson.
Jeffrey's early years were filled with energy and curiosity. He enjoyed swimming. basketball, football, tennis, and bike riding, and was a proud member of the National Negro Tennis Association, activities that reflected his zest for life and his love for the outdoors. His intellectual drive led him to Central State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, with a focus in accounting in 1976.
His professional journey was as dynamic as his personality. Jeffrey began his professional journey as an accountant at Continental Bank of Chicago. Recognizing his true passion and talent for sales and marketing, he transitioned to a new role at Xerox, where he continued to thrive. He relocated to Houston, Texas to take on the role of National Account Manager for Sprint. He later returned to Chicago, where he served as Regional Director at Teleport Communications and later as General Manager at Ameritech Information Industry Services. Eventually, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own firm, Revere Consulting, where he continued to inspire others with his vision and leadership.
Jeffrey's greatest pride, however, was his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Denise Revere; his loving sister, Vyrlyn Revere; his children, Shaundrika Williams (Maurice) and Marcellus Riley Revere; and his adored grandchildren, Kennedy, Kamryn, and Kruz Williams. He is also survived by his nephew, Derrick Smith, and niece, Denise Corbett-Hill, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss his wisdom, humor, and generous spirit.
Jeffrey's life was a testament to perseverance, love, and the power of connection. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
