Jeffery "Jeff" A. Hough

Jeffery "Jeff" A. Hough, age 50 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on July 23, 2026. He was born October 17, 1975 in Dayton, Ohio.

Jeff was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was a Stebbins High School 1994 graduate, where he was an athlete excelling in Soccer, Baseball, and Track. He had a passion for singing and was a member of the Show Choir and Symphonic Choir. He then went on to further his education at the University of Miami Florida, where he earned his bachelors degree in Business Administration in Sports Management. After receiving his bachelors degree, he went back to earn his associates in Law at Sinclair Community College.

He enjoyed watching movies, game shows, trivia, and playing video games. Jeff was an avid sports fan, loved rooting for the University of Miami Hurricanes. Jeff loved being an uncle and doing whatever he could for and with them. He loved giving to those around him and it brought him great joy taking care of and treating others. Jeff took pride in making sure he made a phone call to tell someone he was thinking of them, calling to say Happy Birthday, or sending a card. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Cleo (Skinner) Hough; maternal grandfather, Carl Packett; and uncles, Gary Packett and Dale Packett.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Pam (Packett) Hough; brother, Anthony "Tony" (Heather) Hough; niece, Sierra; nephews, Benjamin and Lucas; maternal grandmother, Joann Packett; uncle Duane (Doll) Hough; aunt, Betty (Jerry) Mashburn; several cousins; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 1-3pm at Open Bible Christian Church, 4715 Burkhardt Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45403. A memorial service will begin at also at the Church at 3pm with Pastor Sean Stanley officiating.
