Carol Jean Mosley-Gray (“Jeanie”), age 89, of Dayton, passed away on April 17, 2026.
Jeanie retired from Cub Foods after 10 years of dedicated service. She was an active member of the VFW, American Legion, and AMVETS. Jeanie loved fishing, dancing, throwing darts, and going to yard sales. She enjoyed spending time with family and living life with energy and joy.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Kalter; mother, Virginia Junk; father, Howard Stupp; son, Gary Stanley Mosley; daughter, Kathy Sue Mosley; and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Stanley Turner; and Herman Mosley.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Gray; daughter, Debbie Lynn Williams Son in law: John Backus; granddaughter, Jeanie Nicole Parsons; grandson, Bradley Williams; granddaughter, Katrina Mosley; nine great-grandchildren; niece, Jody Lynn Raab; brother-inlaw, Bill and Sandy of South Carolina; Marsha and Pete of Centerville, Ohio; Rick Gray of Dayton; Rhonda and Rick of Centerville; Ginger and Joe; Shelley Richey; and a host of loving family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 5-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 6pm. Jeanie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
