It is with profound sorrow and deep respect that we announce the passing of Jeane Reddicks, who departed this world on December 28, 2025, after a long-term illness. Born on March 31 1954, Jeane lived a life brimming with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family, which stood as the cornerstone of her existence.
A spirited and passionate soul, Jeane made her mark as an Assistant Manager at Poelking Lanes for an impressive 26 years, where she became a cherished figure not just for her professional commitment but also for the warmth she extended to those around her. She possessed an extraordinary ability to blend strength and compassion, a trait that endeared her to many and inspired countless others.
Jeane’s personality was a rich tapestry woven with fierce independence and a selfless nature. She nurtured her loved ones with an accepting heart and a protective demeanor, always ready to step up for those in need. Her sense of humor lightened the weight of any situation, resulting in cherished memories that her family will hold dear. Whether it was through lively bowling outings with her family or sharing joyous moments at home, her laughter resonated with an infectious energy that will linger in the hearts of all who knew her.
As a devoted wife to her husband of 35 years, Jim Reddicks, Jeane illustrated the essence of partnership and love. Her son, Brad Bridges, and daughter-in-law, Andrea Behr, along with her grandchildren, Madison (Asher) Bridges and Bradley Bridges Jr., were her pride and joy, shining examples of the legacy of warmth and compassion she instilled in her family. Jeane is also survived by her sister, Kathy Arnold. By her side was her brother, Tom Kirkendall and her special nieces Tracy Morgan, Keri (Matt) Sauer, Christy Arnold, and Kelli Arnold, whom she embraced as daughters. Several nieces and nephews that she treated like her own grandchildren. Jeane’s family and bowling friends, many of whom were like family to her, will forever treasure the indelible imprint she left upon their lives.
Jeane's passions extended beyond her family; she was a devoted season ticket holder of the Cincinnati Bengals, and her love for animals further showcased her compassionate soul. These interests underscored the multifaceted woman she was-one who could find joy in both sporting events and the simple pleasures of life.
Jeane joins in peaceful repose her beloved parents, Edgar and Norma Kirkendall, and her sister, Christy Morgan, with whom she shares an eternal bond. Though she has departed from our sight, her spirit and the richness of her legacy live on in the hearts of those she loved fiercely. We celebrate Jeane Reddicks not only for the life she led but for the lives she touched, a true matriarch whose influence will resonate through generations to come.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A Celebration of Life will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 12:30 pm. Jeane will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery following the service.
