J.D. Poole

J.D. Poole, age 70 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born September 21, 1949 in Wedowee, Alabama to the late Arthur and Vara Poole. He is also preceded in death by his many siblings.

J.D. is survived by his four children, J.D. (Kimberly) Mitchell, Lendrick L. (Christine) Mitchell, Vontanise L. Benton and Jadan K. Poole; grandchildren, Whitney C. (Christon) Powell, Jonathon L. Mitchell, Jacob C. Mitchell, Jaden D. Mitchell, Ly'niyaha L. Poole and Kai L. Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Chancellor and Caydence Powell and Jonathan Jr. Mitchell; special nephews, James and Jerry Carter and many other family and friends. He is also survived by lifelong friend, James "Moe" Moore.

J.D. loved music (Blues), basketball, and big time wrestling. His laugh and jokes will be missed the most!

Public Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Kettering Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to son, Jadan K. Poole.
