Jay D. Frazier

Jay Dee Frazier, age 54, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly August 10, 2026. He was born June 8, 1972 in Dayton, to Hugh R. Frazier and Hazel F. (Case) Frazier.

In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his brothers and sister: Alan Scott Frazier, Barbara Link and Rodney Frazier.

He is survived by his daughters: Jenna Frazier and Shelbie Frazier (Kyle Combs); brothers: Mark (Fonda), Joey, Jamie, David and Johnny Frazier; grandchildren: Hunter and Hayden Frazier and Silas Combs. He was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his 4th grandson.

Jay was an engineer with Eastman-Kodak for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, playing guitar and always finding a new project to keep him busy. Jay was funny, smart, innovative among many other great qualities. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 3:00pm.
