Jason D. Zientara of Dayton, Ohio passed away on October 8, 2019 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Jason was born on December, 19, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of David Zientara and Cheryl (Bennett) Clutter. He graduated from Carroll High School and attended Sinclair Community College where he graduated with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation from Sinclair, Jason became a public servant serving as police officer with Sinclair Community College's Police Department and also served as peace officer with Montgomery County. Most recently he was employed at Frisch's Big Boy Restaurant as a manager.
Jason is survived by his father, David Zientara, stepmother, Barbara Evanoff and his mother, Cheryl (Bennett) Clutter, stepfather, Stephen. He is also survived by his son, Troy Zientara. He leaves paternal grandmother Betty Zientara, and maternal grandmother, Carol McCoy, husband, Larry, and step-grandmother, Barbara Bennett. Other family members include his aunt, Diana (Zientara) Beam, husband Tom, and cousin Emily Beam, his uncle, Glen Heil, cousin Bethany Heil Barnes, and husband, Caleb. Also surviving are stepsister, Tina Clark, husband, Eric and stepbrother, Stephen Marker, wife Alison. Additional family members include, previous stepfathers, Randall Williams and Lee Mowery, as well as, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Molly Connell, and her son Dylan.
Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Zientara, his maternal grandfather, William Bennett, and aunt, Tracy (Bennett) Heil. As well as, stepmother, Barb (Pyle) Zientara.
The Reverend Stewart B. Smith will officiate the services for Jason, which will be private.
