Jason Gau, a cherished husband, devoted father, and beloved friend, left this world on September 21, 2025, at the age of 46 in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Born on September 24, 1978, he spent his life embodying the values of generosity and support, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

Jason was a man whose kindness knew no bounds; he had a remarkable ability to befriend and help everyone he met. His warm and welcoming spirit meant that his door was always open, offering comfort and companionship to all who entered. He found immense joy in spending quality time with his beloved wife, Amanda Gau, with whom he shared 26 beautiful years. Together, they created countless memories, particularly through their travels to places like Florida and Pigeon Forge, where laughter and love knew no limits.

As a proud father, Jason adored his children—Taylor, DJ, Victoria, Faith, Peyton, Khloe, Lilian, and Jason II—pouring every ounce of his heart into their lives. His unwavering support for each one of them was evident in every moment spent together, whether they were exploring new adventures or enjoying the simple pleasures of life at home.

Jason appreciated the thrill of adventure, indulging his passion for riding motorcycles and working on cars. He was always eager to share these hobbies with his family, showing them the importance of pursuing one's passions and living life to the fullest. His zest for life was contagious, drawing people in and fostering friendships that spanned across years.

Survived by his loving wife and children, as well as his siblings Angela (James) Wilcox and Tonya (Mark) Kelsey, Jason leaves behind a legacy rich in love and connection. The family is blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever remember him as a beacon of positivity in their lives.

Jason was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Jacob and Cheryl Gau, who nurtured his generous spirit and taught him the values he carried throughout his lifetime.
