Jared Damien Wright

Jared Damien Wright was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 8, 1978, to Robert and Teresa Wright. Jared attended Dayton Public Schools and graduated from Meadowdale High School in 1997. Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 13, 1996, Jared loved to share Bible truths with anyone he met. He enjoyed listening to and singing country music. An avid sports fan, Jared always rooted for Ohio’s teams like the Dragons, Bengals, and Buckeyes. Jared passed away June 17, 2026.

Jared was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Mabel Dangerfield, Robert Sr. & Rosa Wright, as well as cousins Tracie Wright & Alphonso Taylor.

Jared is survived by his parents Robert L. & Teresa G. Wright; siblings: Ashaki N. (Richard ) Daugherty, Jessica Rose Wright, Julian L. Wright Sr.; Aunts: Judith Foster, Elaine (Randall) Aniton, and Sherry Wright; Uncle Jonathan W. Dangerfield; Cousins: Anthony Foster, Jonathan Dangerfield, Tina Dangerfield, Maria Dangerfield, Andrew Dangerfield, Yasmine Wright, Brandon Aniton, Chelsea (Douglas) Spear and Paris Wright; Great Aunts: Romana Garrett, Samantha Anderson and Joan Campbell; Great Uncle: Artria Dangerfield; Nieces & Nephews: Asia Jordan, Barnett (Ashley) Jordan Jr., Chanel Jordan, Dorian (Ariadne) Arnold, Jalen McGhee, Amun Daugherty, Zuri Daugherty, Julian Wright Jr, Legend Wright; 5 great nieces, 1 great nephew, longtime friend Lonnie Medley, and many other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00pm at 1530 N. James H. Mcgee Blvd, Dayton, OH, 45402
