Janson E. Milnickel

Janson "Emily" Earl Milnickel, age 45, of Riverside, Ohio passed away at home, on February 16, 2026.

Janson was born on October 6, 1980, in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Stebbins High School in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick Milnickel; mother, Michele "Mikki" Dent; and brother, Bobby Milnickel.

Janson leaves behind many to cherish his memory including wife, Sophie (Anna) Milnickel; their children, Emmett and Sammatha Milnickel; step-mother Shirley Milnickel; sister, Kimi (John) Joyce; nieces, Clara and Alannah Joyce; uncles, cousins, and other loving family members.

Janson was a social butterfly with many life-defining friendships throughout the years. Notably, Zach (Spenser) Hunt and their daughter, Danika; as well as Brian Ross.

The life of the party, resident karaoke singer, and a man of many jokes--Janson formed memorable bonds with anyone he met. His lively and fun spirit meant Janson was often found dancing, at the range, or watching a Red Wings game. He spent his free time playing video games, or with the boys, drinking and playing Magic the Gathering. Above all else, he loved being with his friends and family.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where the Funeral Service will begin at 3:00pm.
