Janrose Melvin Jones, 69, of Dayton, passed away August 23, 2018 after a brief illness.
He was born June 12, 1949 in Menifee County, Kentucky to the late John Alex and Opal (Kendrick) Jones. Janrose retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 32 years of service. He was always the "life of the party" and enjoyed making others laugh. Janrose was carefree and lived life to the fullest. Janrose was a great cook and loved his soup beans and cornbread.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Inez Toth, and brother, Lawrence Jones.
Janrose is survived by his children, Tammi (Daniel) Hollis, Jan Eric Jones, Mathew Jones, Hailey Jones, Justin Brown, Kyle Jones, Katelyn Jones, Tyler Philpo; grandchildren, Isaiah Conner Jones, Kennedy Jones, and Emerson Joy Tate. He is also survived by his sisters, Nina Guerreo, Fannie Morgerson, Lizzie Covert, Marlene Hutchins, Inez May Webb, and many nieces and nephews.
Janrose was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
