Jannie L. "Memaw" Leslie , 74, of Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 10, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 22, 1939, in Shannon, Mississippi to the late Bobby Fields Sr. and Lucretia (Dilworth) Miller.
Jannie was employed by the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Paula Leslie (Howard).
She is survived by her children, Sherry Harris Gates, Patricia (Charles) Ferguson, Dillard (Christine) Leslie Jr., Deborah M. (Marcus) Glass, Sandra Y. Long; brothers, Bobby Fields Jr, William Roger Fields; sisters, Queenie Paschall; Beatrice Fields; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
