Janice M. Zahora Kilian

Janice Zahora Kilian, age 66 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed peacefully surrounded by her family on August 15, 2020. She was born December 19, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of John and Margaret Zahora.

Janice was a loving mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a mentor for newly diagnosed cancer patients with Myeloma Coach in which she gave hope and helped make a difference in so many lives. She enjoyed gardening, playing piano, card club, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Zahora.

Janice is survived by her children, Brian Birtle, Angie (Joe) Young, and Julie (Ben) Dulin; grandchildren, Crystal, Marlee, Eva, Oliver, and Nora Janice; siblings, James "Jim" Zahora, Joanne "Noannie" (Alan) Zahora, John (Donna) Zahora, Jeff Zahora, Joe Zahora, and Jerry Zahora; as well as numerous family members and close friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel ( 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439). Mass will take place on Friday August 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Good Hope ( 6 South 3rd Street, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342).
