Janice (Bailey) Mccoy

Janice Bailey McCoy, age 77 of Middletown, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Atrium Medical Center, Middletown. She was born September 11, 1941 in Middletown to the late Raleigh Henry and Bertha Ann (Taulbee) Bailey. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brothers, Vic, David and Gary Bailey.

She is survived by her children, Lora McCoy, Lisa McCoy and James (Sheryl) McCoy; grandchildren, Jenna McCoy and Kara McCoy; a brother, Carl (Rita) Bailey and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Bailey and Sandy Bailey as well as numerous friends and family

Janice was a 1959 graduate of Lemon-Monroe High School and was employed as a restaurant manager at Cassano's for 30 years. She retired from Kroger after 10 years in their deli department. Janice enjoyed cooking and gardening in her spare time. She attended Mercy Point Church of God in Middletown and will always be remembered for helping others.

Family will receive guests from 4:00-6:00 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm also at the funeral home. Woodside Cemetery, Middletown will serve as Janice's final resting place.
