Janet will be remembered as the heart of her family and the matriarch whose presence held so much together. She was a true firecracker-someone who knew what she wanted, how she wanted it, and when she wanted it. She was known for her tough love, always offered with care and softened by the deep kindness that lived beneath her strong spirit. Those who knew Janet understood that behind her determination was a heart of gold and a generous nature that touched many lives.

She devoted many years to her work, including 15 years at Measurement Specialties, and later retired from East Dayton Health Center after many years of service. Her dedication and steady presence were qualities that followed her throughout both her professional life and her personal life.

At home and among those she loved, Janet found joy in caring for others in ways both large and small. She loved crocheting and made items for everyone, creating handmade reminders of her love that will be cherished for years to come. She was also a great cook, bringing people together around her table and making others feel welcome and cared for. In every sense, she was the glue that held everyone together.

Of all the roles she held in life, none meant more to Janet than being a mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the proudest accomplishments of her life, and she treasured them above all else. The love she gave to her family was the foundation of so much of who she was, and that love will remain her lasting legacy.
