Janet K. Lainhart, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on August 11, 1941, Janet's life was a remarkable journey filled with love, resilience, and cherished moments.
A Homemaker and skilled salesperson, Janet built a career that reflected her independent nature. She was not only passionate about her family and her work but also brought warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Janet wore many hats throughout her life, but her most treasured ones were those of a loving wife, nurturing mother, and doting grandmother. Her family was at the heart of her world; she adored her children, Anita Klier and William Lainhart (Tammy), and relished every moment spent with her grandchildren: William Shawn (Abby), William Alexander, Taylor Joseph, Blake Andrew, and Ryan Venson. Each smile, each laugh shared, filled her heart with joy, and her spirit will continue to shine through the love she cultivated in her family.
Janet had a zest for life that extended beyond her family. She found solace in the pages of books, amassing a collection that reflected her diverse interests. Music was another one of her great loves; she could often be found humming along to the tunes of Elvis, Bon Jovi or Travis Tritt, her spirit soaring with each note. Many tranquil afternoons were spent sitting on her screened-in porch, gently swinging as she basked in the beauty of her garden. Her hands nurtured not only plants but also countless memories, capturing precious moments in her well-crafted scrapbooks filled with photographs and stories.
Janet's legacy is enriched by the love and laughter she shared with family and friends. She leaves behind her cherished children and grandchildren, as well as a great-granddaughter, Emerson Alexis, who brought even more light into her life. Her absence will be profoundly felt by many, including her extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Janet K. Lainhart's journey may have come to an end, but the impact she made on those around her will live on eternally. In her life, she taught her loved ones the importance of kindness, the beauty of independence, and the joy found in life's simple pleasures. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Venson Lainhart, and touched by the memory of her dear parents, Jessie and Donald Roberts, as well as her siblings, Donna Hickle, Virginia "Ann" Yount, Betty Rigney, and Larry Roberts.
Though she has departed from this world, Janet's love will continue to bloom in the hearts of her family. She will forever be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
