Janet Marilyn Fader

Janet Marilyn Fader, age 82 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on May 24, 1942 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Ross. 

Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her creativity as a talented seamstress. Her keen eye for detail and passion for her craft made her creations a joy to behold, and she often shared her skills with those around her. 

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Ross (Cynthia); children, Jonathan (Anne) Ross, Daniel Ross, Nannette (Joel) Maltese, Larry D. Fader Jr., and Rick Fader; grandchildren Kyrie Ross (April), Rachel Goldie (Devin), and Elizabeth Ross, and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Larry Fader; and sister, Shirley Planet. 

Janet leaves behind, not just a family, but a tapestry of love woven through the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459). A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 pm.
