Jane L. Huffman

Jane L. Huffman, age 66 of Dayton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2026. She was born October 6, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of Thomas Spiller and Mary Herbst.

She was a loving and devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Jane had a passion for music, attending concerts, and getting her Ipsy monthly subscription in which she loved to do her makeup. She enjoyed rock painting, trying new restaurants, watching figure skating, roller skating, and spending time with her family and friends. Jane was an avid sports fan, always cheering on her Denver Broncos. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren in whom she loved dearly. She had a generous heart and loved to give to those around her. Jane will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Jane was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward (Kate) Spiller; father, Thomas Spiller; sister, Deborah Estepp; husband, Henry Huffman Jr.; and grandson, Thomas Edward Ash.

She is survived by her soul mate, Jimmy Getz; Nicole Hardin, Ryan Huffman, and Natalie Castle; grandchildren, Allie Holmes, Alexis Ash, Gabriella Holmes, Liam Fields, and Levi Fields; mother, Mary Herbst; sisters, Katherine Combs and Amy Vance; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 4pm also at the Funeral Home.
