Worden, James "Jim", 75, of West Carrollton, passed away on February 17, 2018 and began his new life in Heaven.
He was born April 13, 1942 in Canton, PA to the late Irving and Ruth (Hallowell) Worden. Jim loved to be outdoors, keeping up the lawn and working on cars but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. He was a very caring and giving person, and eager to help anyone in their time of need. Jim was funny and witty and loved to play pranks.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert William Worden.
Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years, Molly (Adams) Worden; 2 sons, James Ray Worden and wife, Susan, Brian David Worden; 3 granddaughters, Mollie Cullen and husband, Brian, Samantha Morgan and husband, Blaine, Allyson Worden; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mary Ruth Henderson and husband, Carroll, Effie Walker and husband, Buddy, June Worden; 1 brother, William Henry Worden and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bishop Leibold School in Jim's memory.
Visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:30 pm on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Newcomer, South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd, where funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Jim will be laid to rest on Saturday at Johnson Co. Memorial Cemetery, Paintsville, KY.
