James Harold Turner

James Harold Turner, of Dayton, passed away at the age of 90 on November 28 2024 at home with his two daughters by his side. He was born in Paint Lick, Kentucky to the late Lillie & Russell Turner. In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lois Turner, Brothers: Ronnie Turner, Danny Turner, he leaves behind his daughters Vicki Turner of Huber Heights and Deborah (Jerry) Williams of Union,Ohio; Grandchildren: David Michael (Brandy) Madden, Chris (Lesley) Madden, Traci (Chris) De León, Brad (Amber) Williams; great-grandchildren: Christen Madden, Lydia, Jase Madden, Alyssa, Julian, Jonathan De León, Jessa Williams, Brandon, Candyce Moe; Great-great-grandchildren: Alex Bryson, Aleia Fiamengo; and a host of extended family and friends. 

Harold was in the United States Air-force from 1956 -1960, and he was stationed in Denver Colorado. Harold worked in the Sheet Metal field since he was 14, working for different companies. He started his own company Turners Sheet metal, then in 1979 he went to work at Delco and retired in 1996. After Dad retired he became the "Harold of All Trades" at North Dayton Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank NDBC family for always being there for Harold.

Contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of Dayton. 

A visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, December 13, 2024 at North Dayton Baptist Church, 515 Lillian Avenue in Dayton, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm and following the service, Harold will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
