James F Thompson

James F Thompson, age 68 of Centerville, OH passed away suddenly August 25, 2018. He was born August 11, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH and grew up in Maderia, OH. He is survived by his father, Robert Thompson; daughters, Nicol (Joe) Rogers and Monique Reider and their mother Judy (Owens) Worthington; brother, Albert Thompson and his companion Jeanne; sister, Claudia (Danny) McElroy. His is also survived by his loving companion of 15 years Cheryl Harwood Peterman and her children, Emily and Mark Ferris and James and Carissa Harwood and their children Adilyn, Lillian and Hayden Ferris and Andre, Phoenix and Vivianna Harwood. he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Thompson; brother, Thomas "Tommy" Thompson; grandparents, Claude and Eva Campbell and Albert and Aerial Thompson.

Jim was owner of McCarroll Construction Company and Hittle Home Improvement Company. He was an avid NASCAR fan; he also loved boating, fishing, music, especially the blues and he loved to dance.

Services will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3:00 pm at SouthBrook Christian Church 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, OH 45342. Celebration of Life will be held at Top of the Market 32 Webster St. Dayton, OH 45402 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Jim's name to Ohio Hospice of Dayton or SouthBrook Christian Church.
