James "Jimmy" Monroe Stamper, age 55, of Miamisburg, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Jimmy was born in Dayton on September 27, 1962.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harlen & Hazel Stamper, Roosevelt "Rose" & Mildred Estep; parents, Paul & Sylvia Stamper; mother-in-law, Barbara Schindler; niece, Michelle Stamper; and great-niece, Whitley Stamper.
He is survived by his wife, Marty Stamper; daughter, Misty (John) Alexander; step-children, Christopher (Amanda) Butler, Angela (Daniel) Butler, Jesse (Amber) Bunnell, and Jenny Bunnell-Dare; sisters, Becki (Karl) Fisher, Penny Stamper & Leann Bachman, and Jodi (Eric) Wait; grandchildren, Jasmine, John Jr., Curtis, Adam, Aden, Breezy, C.J., Gage, Gabrielle, Melvin, Kelsey, Peyton, Kennedy, Trinity, Brice, and Skyla; great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Cash; nieces & nephews, Jonathan, Ashley, Tony, Dakota, Makenzie, Stormy, Ariel, Dustin, and Destiny; great-nieces & great-nephews, Tristen, Cali, Jolee, Myrakle, Payton, Landon, Jillean, Avary, Lydia, Cameron, Kylee, Aubrey, Aleah and Athena; special family member, Danielle Colegrove; special friends, Greg Daubert and Wess Thomas; and many other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was a fun loving person. He loved his job, watersports, the outdoors, spending time with his family, and stopping by the bar to drink his Budweiser.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 2-2:45pm at Miamisburg Assembly of God, 501 N. 9th St., Miamisburg, OH 45342. A Celebration Memorial will follow at 2:45pm, with Pastor John Swint officiating. Afterwards, a Fellowship dinner will be at the Family Life Center on 6th St.
