James R. Schuck, 69, passed away on December 22, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on April 2, 1956, to Albert and Sylvia Schuck, Jim was a lifelong Dayton resident and a 1974 graduate of Meadowdale High School. He graduated from Sinclair College with an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Data Processing and spent the majority of his career as a Financial Representative at Fidelity Investments.

Jim had a heart of gold, and his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Day or night, he could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. Jim was always up for a good time and would do anything for a laugh. His infectious laughter will be deeply missed. Jim’s hobbies included anything motorized. He loved building and restoring projects ranging from snowmobiles and boats to motorcycles and go-karts. His true lifelong passion was Corvettes, having owned a 1966 and then a 1969 as a teenager. Jim continued his enthusiasm for Corvettes throughout his life by attending shows, building scale models, and passing down his passion and knowledge to both of his sons.

Jim is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Sandy; his three children, Michael (Amy) Schuck, Leslie (Paco) Ramirez, and Bryant (Danielle) Schuck; and his nine grandchildren.

To honor Jim’s legacy, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association - Miami Valley Chapter (https://www.alz.org/dayton) or Hospice of Dayton (https://www.ohioshospice.org/give).

A Celebration of Life for Jim is currently being planned by his family, additional details will be forthcoming.
