James R. Patterson Jr., age 71 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born April 22, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late James and Marjorie Patterson.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Patterson; sister, Rebecca Semons.
James is survived by his daughter, Joanna Lea-Ellen Keller; son, James Richard Patterson, III; grandsons, Hunter and Chase; friend, Steve Locker.
James proudly served as a civil servant for 47 years with the Department of Defense as a Civic Engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
James will be laid to rest privately at David's Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.
