James "Jim" E. Cole Jr.

James "Jim" E. Cole Jr., age 85 of Medway, Ohio passed away with his family by his side on February 8, 2026. He was born October 14, 1940 in Eldorado, Ohio. The son of the late James and Julia Cole Sr.

Jim was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was avid car enthusiasts. He loved to go camping, boating, and being out on the water. Jim had a passion for tinkering with a motor, being out on an empty road on his motorcycle, and spending time with family. Jim had a passion for "stirring the pot", playing tricks on others, and bringing a smile to those around him. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Cole; and the mother of his children, Peggy Lockard; son, Corey Cole; and granddaughter, Tayler Cole.

Jim is survived by his children, Cheryl (Greg) Turner, Mike (Misty) Cole, and Chad (Beverly) Cole; grandchildren, Lindsey (Evan), Katie (Jacob), Jordan (Abigail), Madison (Eddie), Erica (Ryan), Emily, and Elysa; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 3pm also at the funeral home.
