Anthony, James S. "Jim", age 61, of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 22, 2013. Jim was a long time Optician in the Dayton and Springfield area. Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend who was generous, caring and always funny.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 37 years: Mandy; sons: Jim II and David; grandchildren: James III, Alexis and Riley; siblings: JR, Dan and Toni; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Terrell Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Jim.
