James "Jimmy" Irwin, a gifted interior designer whose passion for his craft was matched only by his love for travel, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. Born on December 29, 1939, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Jimmy’s journey through life was marked by creativity, exploration, and a commitment to the art of design.
Throughout his career, Jimmy earned a reputation for his distinctive modern aesthetic, delighting clients with interiors that were both elegant and infused with the spirit of his extensive travels. Most recently, he lent his expertise to Stegman's Interiors, where his flair for contemporary décor left an indelible mark. His work was more than just a profession-it was his passion.
