James A. "Andy" Gilliand

James A. "Andy" Gilliland, 76, of Dayton, passed away April 10, 2026. Andy was born in El Centro, California on October 1, 1949 to the late Jack and Laura Gilliland.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Jack and William Gilliland.

He is survived by loving wife, Susan Gilliland; daughter, Kristy Gilliland; son, Andy Wayne (Morgan) Gilliland; 7 grandchildren, Destanee, Andy Wayne Jr., Heather, Zoe, Mylah, Victoria and Brianna; 3 great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Kingsley and Victor.

Andy attended Modesta High School in California. He retired from XPO as a truck driver. Andy was also a United States Air Force Veteran.

In his free time, he enjoyed working at the flea market.

Andy was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
