James Driver

James R. “Jim” Driver, age 69 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Springfield Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born August 3, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Russell and Marylou Driver.

A 1975 graduate of Beavercreek High School, Jim pursued his trade at Sinclair Community College and dedicated 32 years to Estee Mold and Die, retiring in 2010 due to Parkinson's disease. He was deeply passionate about motocross and motorcycles, earning several trophies in his pursuits. He was also an avid NASCAR enthusiast. His family was his greatest treasure and they meant the world to him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Driver.

Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Tina; children, Melissa (Ben) Algren, Jamie (Jerry) Beekman and Carrie (Brandon) McPeek; grandchildren, Sam (Kara) Algren, Ryan Algren, Allison (Trinidad) Morales, Cayley Beekman, Cara McPeek, Brock McPeek, Chloe McPeek and Bryce McPeek; great grandchildren, Ellie Algren, Millie Algren and one on the way baby Mia; mother, Marylou Driver; siblings, Sue (Mike) Donahue, David Driver and Lori (Don) Kiesel and many other loving family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jim's sister, Sue, for all of her support, love and care during this difficult time.
