James "Jimmy" A. Morrissey

James (Jimmy) Anthony Morrissey, age 40, passed away on January 2, 2026. He was born on July 21, 1985, in Dayton, Ohio. James was preceded in death by his father, James Morrissey; his mother, Amy Holman; his grandmother, Janis Morrissey, who was like a mother to him and held a very special place in his heart; his grandmother, Marylin Trebnik; and his great‑grandmother, Bernice Nagy.

He is survived by his children, Isabelle (Izze) Renee Morrissey and James Anthony Morrissey II, both of South Carolina; his sister, Jamie Morrissey; a large extended family, and countless friends who will miss his laughter, stories, and larger‑than‑life presence.
